5/11 - Thanks to Hammer's for another great, fun show last night!

4/22 - UFB just had a fantastic review from A&R Select! Read it on our Press & Reviews page. There was also a score sheet on a scale of 1-10 scoring things like music with an 80%, marketability with 75%, and an overall score of 80%! We feel this is very good in comparison to how many artists there are in the world and how many A&R Select work with! Big opportunities on the horizon!
4/20 - New cancer benefit show May 17th in the parking lot across from Warsaw Bowl! Bud Weiser will be sponsoring the event.

3/17/08 - Happy St. Patty's Day! Hope everyone's enjoyed this holiday weekend. We certainly love to celebrate the Irish culture. Especially with our Irish cover songs by Flogging Molly. If you missed our St. Patty's show Friday then you really missed out. However, there's always next year!
If you noticed the new mp3 player above then you're nothing short of sharp. UFB has just hooked up with a new promo company called A&R Select, with a new profile page hosted by PromoFM! (http://www.promofm.com/UFB) This player is just one of the little dandy's.
A&R Select is a music licensing company that "offers artists music and image consultations, marketing and publicity services and consideration by record labels, publishers, music supervisors, and other industry executives seeking music and artists." (A&R Select)
2/21/08 - New St. Patty's show March 14th at Hammers! Come party, drink your head off, and stomp your feet to some Irish jigs!
1/31/08 - If you haven't already, check out some new demo songs UFB recorded in their practice studio on their reformed myspace site. There is a new address for it: www.myspace.com/ufb2. Same site, but new address.
And be sure to come to the Hammer's show this Saturday! UFB will be playing some great new songs! Show starts at 8pm.

12/29/07 - Come out to Hammer's this New Years Eve! UFB will be rocking out all night! There will be a special cover charge that includes free food and cheap drinks. It's the last show for 2007 so don't miss out!
12/10/07 - Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays so far! UFB has been taking this time to work on a new demo and reform the band. We'll be keeping you informed here on what's to come!

10/16/07 - UFB had a great show Saturday! The two labels loved the music and thought they were great musicians but not exactly the style of music they were looking for at this time. Just as what was expected from the major labels looking to sell millions and millions of records; they were looking for such uniqueness that stood way out from most music. But the fight goes on with some more updates!

10/11/07 - UFB is off to Columbus, OH Saturday to play in the Allbiz music industry showcase! Wish them luck, for this is the biggest opportunity they've had!
Also, UFB has booked it's Halloween show this year for Hammer's in Syracuse on Friday, Oct. 26th!
9/23/07 - It's the first day of Autumn and UFB will be playing this Friday at the Kewanna Fall Festival from 2-5 pm! Don't miss out!
The band is taking some time to prepare for the upcoming showcase Oct. 13th in Columbus, OH. This is a large opportunity for UFB because there will be an A&R person from Columbia and Island Records scouting for new artists! So if you live around, or know someone who lives around Columbus, come help show support by attending! Tickets are required. We have several for sale so contact us to purchase them.

8/26/07 - Thanks to the awesome crowd at Hammer's Saturday night! UFB had a great time and the response really made a difference!
The benefit show was also a success! The money will go to phone cards and Kool tube neck ties for the troops deployed in Iraq. We have a newspaper article covering this event in the Press & Reviews page! Check it out.
8/17/07 - UFB has just been selected to play in a Music Industry Showcase in Columbus, OH! They will be playing for several record company's representatives and A & R people! Stay tuned!

On another note, here are the details for the upcoming benefit show for the troops Sat. Aug. 18th at the North Webster Community Center:
Starting at 4:30 - 30 Ft. Ahead
5:30 - Civilian Street
6:30 - Summertime Blues Band
7:30 - UFB
- $3 Cover charge w/ Door Prizes to be given away between bands.
- A concession stand will be available.
- There will be a box at the entrance for additional donations including: cash donations, items for recreational activities, personal hygiene, entertainment, work, etc. (no chocolate or pork products)
- All profits and donations will be given to Rhonda Elliot at Midas to be used for International phone cards and Cool Tube Neck Ties that will then be sent in care packages.
